Birthday flowers!!!

Thanks for the b-day flowers, they were very pretty!!!

From mom and dad:

From the Bishop family (it says I can even plant these roses outside):

Craft Day

For Christmas the girls got a bunch of pom poms, pipe cleaners, and wiggly eyes. They are always wanting to create their own thing so we thought this would allow them to be a little creative. They really enjoyed gluing things on however they wanted to.

Proudly showing their creations...

Puzzle continued

Well she did finish the next 300 piece puzzle a day or two after the Noah's Ark puzzle. She is getting faster and faster with them. She finds them relaxing and can do them sometimes for at least an hour before moving on to another activity. She was proud that she completed this all by herself.

Gotta Love Puzzles

Brittany loves to put together puzzles. She gets so that if the patterns are the same in a couple different puzzles she will start mix and matching the pieces so two puzzles become one very strange looking one. She can also just look at a piece and pick it up and place in the correct spot without really thinking about it. She will put them togeter row by row. She had a few 100 piece puzzles but we thought we would give her more of a challenge. So this year for Christmas we got her a couple 300 piece puzzles. Jon and Brittany worked on them the day after Christmas and were successful.

Now Brittany will put them on the kitchen floor and work on them by herself. During one of our quiet times while Kylee and I were watching a video, Brittany sat in the kitchen and put together her Noah's Ark puzzle. She was so proud of herself for putting it together by herself. The picture may not look all that hard but there are 300 pieces in it. Now she is working on the Whale puzzle...stay tuned.

Brittany's 6th B-Day

Brittany was excited all day for her b-day. We ended up not being able to celebrate until the next day. But thanks to grandpa and grandma she did get a couple gifts on her actual b-day. I couldn't get the cake made until Sunday afternoon so we wanted to do our celebration with the cake.

Grandpa and grandma got her more Bakugans and a RC Tarantula. She now has approx 25 Bakugans and she wants more (including the ones we gave her for her b-day from us).

The long awaited for Bakugan cake. The Bakugans I picked out to put on the cake were kind of clear so they didn't show up on the cake all that well. But there were some there.

Sitting on her bed with her RC Tarantula (that she likes to hide in corners and drive out to scare me).

Video of the spider moving around the loft area.

Christmas Day 2009

Christmas morning. The first thing Brittany noticed was her horse but they both loved opening the rest of the presents.

Kylee loves her Spongebog.

Brittany's dinosaur.

Sitting proudly with her "stuff".

Yeah! I have my own bike!! Now she won't have to ride Brittany's anymore.

After our traditional breakfast of spiral ham, fried eggs, waffles, chocolate syrup, mom's homemade syrup, and juice we got dressed and headed over to Jon's parents. We didn't get out as early as we had planned but we got to their house around 1:00 and visited with his parents and his nephew Rob and his family until we headed over to the other grandma's and grandpa's for the evening.

Brittany received the some of the following:

New blog for Shelley and James

Okay, so I finally did what Heather did :o) Started our own blog. This way, James can check it out more easily. Our new website is jamesandmichellepalmer.blogspot.com. I'll try to post on both occasionally, but I'm not really very good at keeping up to date!!! I still want to see Shanna's posts (and Christmas, hint, hint!).
