I have read several interesting books lately. One is called "What is the What" and is about a Sudanese refugee boy growing into a man in Sudan and the U.S.
Others:
"The Life of Pi" is good.
"The Secret Life of Bees" (Sue Monk Kidd)
"The Curious Incident of the dog in the night-time" - about a little boy with autism trying to solve a mystery.
"the Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis
"An Inconvenient Book" by Glenn Beck
"The Lighthouse" by PD James (also a mystery)
